ORIGINAL MEDICINE MUSIC
As a musician, singer, and artist, creation is a crucial extension of my ceremonial work, prayerful offerings to lands, and a way to be in reciprocal relationship to all aspects of life; the Earth, its waters, animals, plants, elements, and the experiences it holds for us. I write music while working intimately as a channel for plant and animal allies, energy vortexes, and oftentimes in response to the collective and global changes we are undergoing as humanity ⊹
I tour and perform internationally with full band ensembles that I direct and curate; sharing my original music alongside traditional medicine songs to both intimate and large audiences. My greatest joy is to express my songs from the depth of my soul, and to also create a field of unity with the audience where we can all sing together as one. Facilitating the ancient art of group singing is a way that I bring the heart and the voice together in a transcendental space where we can all meet together.
As a multidisciplinary artist, I also create through the production of music videos that bring the essence of my songs to life in visual form.
I am a multi-instrumentalist - many know me for my Native American flutes songs - yet ultimately, my voice is the instrument that I channel my greatest creativity and expression through.
Daniela’s debut album, Warmisita Encantada is a joyful and poetic compilation of original songs that were received in master plant diets, whilst in deep communion with nature.
Her concerts blend Central and South American folk traditions with contemporary, heart-opening storytelling, brought to life through guitar, ukulele, orchestral strings, and dynamic percussion. She invites audiences to dance, sing, and open into a shared sense of joy and connection. Her music is medicine — rooted in beauty, remembrance, and healing. Deeply connected to her studies in the Amazon jungle of Peru, Daniela weaves sacred ikaros into musically eclectic and danceable songs.
